How evening primrose press cake is produced:

The evening primrose press cake is a by-product of oil extraction from seeds by using the cold pressing method.

Evening primrose press cake and its applications:

The evening primrose oil cake is a valuable and nutritional supplement to poultry feed. It is commonly fed to cattle, poultry and swine.

Baking tests have shown that press cake, which still has a residual oil content of about 15% after cold pressing is suitable for baking. A traditional rye mix dough or any other combination can be used. Thus, the nutrient-physiological benefits of cereal flour (ballast and minerals, vitamins B + E) are combined with those of the evening primrose (y-linolenic and linoleic acid).
