Elderberry Seed Oil ORGANIC
Organic Elderberry Seed Oil and Its Use in the Cosmetics Industry
Organic elderberry seed oil is a popular ingredient in creams, care oils and lotions for sensitive, irritated and inflamed skin, as it should have a soothing and non-greasy effect. Due to the high proportion of linolenic and alpha-linolenic acid, the elderberry kernel oil is skin-friendly and is intended to gently and sustainably care for stressed, damaged skin without remaining uncomfortable on the skin. Thanks to these great properties, organic elderberry seed oil is also a popular ingredient for soothing eczema-afflicted skin.
To gently remove dead skin, add our elderberry seed peeling to our organic elderberry seed oil.
The black elder is a leafy shrub or tree that can grow up to 7 m high. The trunk has a cracked, gray-colored bark. The branches are filled with white pulp. Young twigs are initially green, later they become light gray. The leaves appear long before the flowers. The five-fold flowers are white or chamois in color and have an intense scent. The small flowers form umbrella-like panicle stands with a diameter of up to 30 cm. The elder flowers from May to July. The berries ripen between August and September. Ripe berries are glossy black. They contain the seeds that are important for the extraction of elderberry kernel oil.
Our organic elderberry seed oil is obtained by cold pressing the elderberry seeds and subsequent filtration.
